Female headers are widely used in electronics, electrical appliances, PCB configurations and generic connection devices. Female headers mainly have the role of current or signal transmission. Female headers are mated with pin header for use, in Board To Board connections. Pitch characteristics of female headers are 2.54mm and 2.00mm, 1.27mm, 1.00mm, 0.8mm or can be customized as needed. Pin rows range from one to four rows. SMT and DIP (straight / Right angle) uses are common, and customized heights of female header can be produced to accommodate male pin header configurations. Note: Care must be taken with Insertion of row pins into female header to avoid damage to pins
